About the artist

I am Diana, an artist based in Paris, specializing in graphite drawings that explore the human form and its expressive potential. After several years working as a PhD researcher and political advisor in Belgium, I chose to follow my husband when he was appointed to Paris in 2024, dedicating the first months of my daughter’s life to being with her and building our home. Now, with her at daycare, I am finally pursuing my childhood dream: creating and sharing my own art.

I have trained at the Académie des Beaux-Arts, focusing on drawing and morphology, and continue to refine my skills through ongoing practice and study. I am also a passionate student of art history, taking courses at the École du Louvre, which continually inspire and inform my work.

My first series showcases my interest in the female form through detailed, hyper-realistic graphite portraits. Each piece reflects my commitment to observation, technique, and capturing the subtle expressions that make each subject unique.

Through my art, I aim to create an intimate connection with the viewer, inviting reflection and appreciation for the nuances of the human figure.
